It has been revealed that Hong Kong actress and Cantopop singer Miriam Yeung secretly married fiance Real(Gary) Ting on 11th August in Las Vegas, US, according to Sohu.com.
The news has shocked entertainment circles.
35-year-old Miriam Yeung and younger fiance Real Ting, 30, had been dating for two years. Their high-profile relationship often hit the tabloid headlines. There were previous rumors that the two held their wedding banquet in Shanghai back in June.
Yeung denied the rumours that she had married Real and swore that she would announce it to the public when she did.
After the news broke, some netizens denounced Yeung as a liar, while the singer said it was not that they didn't want to share their news but for the sake of a contract she has had with her company which wanted to wait for an appropriate time.
Miriam Yeung said in an interview on Sunday for the "Solar Project", that she would hold a concert next year and had planned to announce the news after that.
