Patricia Arquette has filed for divorce from her husband Thomas Jane.

The 'Medium' star is citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the end of her two-year marriage to 'The Mist' actor and is seeking sole custody of their daughter Harlow, five.

Legal papers were filed at a Los Angeles court on Monday (05.01.08).

Patricia - the sister of Hollywood stars David and Roxanna Arquette - is not claiming any money from her estranged husband and is urging the court to deny him any funds in their eventual settlement.

She has hired top lawyer Laura Wasser - who has worked for Britney Spears, Angelina Jolie, Kiefer Sutherland, Stevie Wonder and Nick Lachey - to handle proceedings.

Patricia and Thomas married in May 2006 after meeting through mutual friends in 2001. It is uncertain when they separated.

The 'True Romance' star also has a son Enzo, 19, with musician Paul Rossi.

Thomas - whose breakthrough role was the titular hero of 2004 comic book adaptation 'The Punisher' - was sentenced to one year's probation in September last year after pleading no contest to a drink driving charge.
